The USAF Thunderbirds arrived in Cleveland today ahead of this weekends 2011 Cleveland National Air Show. That’s the good news, bad news is the weather was not the best you could ask for as far as pictures go. Tons of heat waves and at times, a fog like haze enveloped KCLE. Managed to save a few photos. Friday’s practice should yield better shots!   Enjoy !

It’s officially Air Show time in Cleveland with the arrival of Thunderbird 8, also known as the media jet, today at KCLE, Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. Seems as if the Thunderbirds will be staged at the IX Center this year instead of NASA as in years past. The current airport construction is most likely to blame. After a long wait, air show week is finally here in Cleveland! Yes, I am writing this on Monday August 29, and the show is still 5 days away, but that’s what it’s like in Cleveland during the air show, we all start looking up on the Monday before!
