Sitting in McCarran International Airport waiting to board your plane back home is always a very somber time. If it’s due to lack of sleep on your trip, the losses at the tables catching up with you or the fact that your home city is nothing compared to Fabulous Las Vegas, rarely is there a group of happy passengers at that gate!

I managed to take some shots, fighting back the tears, before my flight departed. Once airborne, and I mean pretty much the instant the wheels left the runway, sleep hit me hard. Guess 5 hours of sleep over a 4 night stay is not a good mix, Viva Las Vegas !
