I am currently trying to catch up from four years of taking photos and letting them sit. Noticed my Redbubble store hasn’t been updated in a longer time than that! The following photos are from thunderstorms in Florida the year I moved. I was lucky that the storms seemed to follow me for that first year, now it’s become largely a seek and find to be honest. Heck, even hurricane Matthew turned away from us, thankfully. Enjoy!

Pelicans diving for fish is something to see for sure. You can sit and watch these birds for hours on end. To me, the resemble fighter jets flying in formation heading for the battle. This area of Florida is known for the manatee, but I have seen far more pelicans than manatees since relocating. If you get the chance to visit Hutchinson Island, pull over and watch the pelicans for a bit, they never disappoint ! Enjoy !

Just before sunset a large downpour helped to produce a double rainbow over the Indian River on Nettles Island, Florida. The rainbow wasn’t as defined as others, but is there really such a thing as a bad rainbow? Enjoy !

The sunsets in Florida are magical nearly every day, this sunset held some remarkable cloud formations. The clouds are distant thunderstorms and thunderheads. The main cloud formation that sticks out looks like a plume of smoke from a fire or bomb on the horizon. Shame we think of bomb nowadays, but that’s really what it looked like! Enjoy!
