Just before sunset a large downpour helped to produce a double rainbow over the Indian River on Nettles Island, Florida. The rainbow wasn’t as defined as others, but is there really such a thing as a bad rainbow? Enjoy !
Gilbert’s Bar House of Refuge Museum is located on South Hutchinson Island and well worth a stop! The museum features artifacts used to rescue shipwrecked sailors, recovered articles from shipwrecks and other items from circa early 1900s. All the items are housed in a restored keepers house that also dates back to the early 1900s.
Photos from plane spotting at Patrick Air Force Base in August, 2012. Patrick AFB isn’t all that active, but for hardcore avgeeks, it’s enough to make a stop enroute to Kennedy Space Center. Enjoy !
