Ribbon of Red in a rock formation at Red Rock Canyon, Summerlin, Nevada 2007   Las Vegas is so much more than the neon of the Strip or Fremont street. I will admit it took until my third trip to realize this. Red Rock Canyon Conservation Area is located a short drive from the Las Vegas Strip in Summerlin, Nevada. It’s more or less Red Rock Casino’s neighbor ! The park offers many, many photo ops as well as hiking, rock climbing, bird watching, biking and so much more.

First of two posts featuring photos from Hobe Sound, Florida. Yet another must visit location when visiting Florida !   Enjoy !   (clicking on the photos will take you to the full store gallery)

Spring has come early to Cleveland this year, 80 degrees in March means grab the camera for sure! That being said, it’s not out of the question winter will make a brief appearance, but today was splendid indeed !   Enjoy !

Some photos from the newly opened Mike O’Callaghan – Pat Tillman Memorial bridge which is the new bypass for the Hoover Dam route 93 into Arizona (or Nevada). The bridge has a walkway on the dam side that is very much worth visiting. Amazing views of the Colorado River, Hoover Dam and surrounding landscape awaits! Just a short 35 minute trip from the Las Vegas Strip, Hoover Dam should be on your list of “to-do’s” when in Vegas. Enjoy !
