The lighting of the Christmas lights on Public Square in Cleveland marks the official start of the Holiday Season here. This year the event was held on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, though my mind was telling me every other year it was on the Friday after Thanksgiving . . .either I am getting old or they changed it, probably both. Some photos from the newly opened Mike O’Callaghan – Pat Tillman Memorial bridge which is the new bypass for the Hoover Dam route 93 into Arizona (or Nevada). The bridge has a walkway on the dam side that is very much worth visiting. Amazing views of the Colorado River, Hoover Dam and surrounding landscape awaits! Just a short 35 minute trip from the Las Vegas Strip, Hoover Dam should be on your list of “to-do’s” when in Vegas. Enjoy !
